ABout Me

My name is Kimmy Tran (she/her). I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, and small business owner that graduated from University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Design.

I am currently working full-time as the Marketing & Communications Lead on the Resource Development team at AACI (Asian Americans for Community Involvement), a nonprofit that provides health, behavioral health, and wellness services for marginalized communities in the Bay Area. Previously, I worked as a Graphic Design Intern at Pacific Beach Coalition, a nonprofit dedicated to environmental preservation and community education.

I co-own a small handmade jewelry business called Just Peachy Sisters. We make a large variety of affordable, beaded jewelry and accessories that we sell online and in-person, with over 1,400 sales since 2022! We’ve vended at events hosted by organizers such as the Berryessa Flea Market, UVI San Jose, Westfield Valley Fair Mall, Cupertino Chamber of Commerce, Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce, OMG Entertainment, So-So Market, Brilliant Society, and SJMADE. We have also previously hosted phone charm workshops at Nabi Cat Cafe and a DIY friendship bracelet station at Plug & Play tech company.

In 2023, I completed my yearlong study of UI/UX design and received my UX Professional Diploma at the UX Design Institute.

In my free time, I enjoy all-things crafting: painting, crocheting, embroidery, cross-stitching, doing diamond art kits, and of course, making jewelry!

I’m based in San Jose, California, USA Pacific Time (PST/PDT).
