Each year, AACI serves over 21,000 individuals and families through primary health care, counseling, shelter, meals, and more. During this 2023 holiday season, AACI aims to raise money for over 800 children from our Holiday Gift Card Drive and to fund access to essential domestic violence and human trafficking services through our Year End Appeal. Both campaigns occur parallel to each other as two halves of AACI’s Your Helping Hand campaign.
For the Holiday Gift Card Drive, create a flyer that can be used for physical and digital distribution. Create social media and email blast content to be shared with AACI’s followers. Create a communications plan to schedule all communications efforts. After the campaign goal is met, distribute gift cards to all clients on our list.
For the Year End Appeal, work on two direct mailing projects and content for a communications plan. Mail drop #1 consists of a 2-page letter, a remittance page, a remittance envelope, and an outer envelope. Mail drop #2 is a postcard that serves as a campaign reminder.
Create a “Thank You” postcard to mail to all donors from AACI’s donor database.

Typography
Final typographic choices were made based on the organization’s established brand guidelines and expectations for the project.
Color Palette
Contrary to AACI’s primary color, royal blue, this campaign was created around the color purple. This color is representative of AACI’s Asian Women’s Home program and domestic violence awareness.
Year End Appeal
The Year End Appeal winter campaign consisted of two direct mailings with the goal of raising money to support clients from AACI’s Asian Women’s Home program. The first mail drop consisted of a 2-page letter, 1-page remittance, remittance envelope, and an outer envelope. The second mail drop consisted of a postcard with a shortened form of the 2-page letter.
In addition to direct mailing, I created a communications plan for all social media posts and email blasts used in this campaign.

Outcome
With the help of AACI’s generous donor base, AACI was able to raise $133,600 for our Your Helping Hand winter campaign. This donation allows AACI to remain as committed as ever to providing essential health and wellness services to our community's most vulnerable individuals and underserved families. As per this year’s campaign theme, these funds will help provide essential services for our survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking at AACI Asian Women's Home! It also ensures that many other AACI clients, like foster youth and children from low-income households, get the support they need!
